NEVES is based on the ancient puzzle game of Tangram. So ancient that I remember playing it at my grandparents when I was a nipper.
NEVES is an updated version of the classic table top puzzle game Tangram, where you have 7 different shaped blocks to make a picture. NEVES allows you to manipulate the 7 Tans anyway you like to make the puzzle picture, making sure each one is used and that they do not overlap each other

The screen layout is very simple, the top screen will show you the final picture, whilst the bottom screen allows you to move the pieces. You are able to move each Tan quite easily, to rotate you can drag a corner of the Tan, to flip just double touch and to move just drag into place.
Initially the game will seem very easy and childish as you only have 7 pieces to contend with, but after the first few puzzles the difficulty goes right up and some serious logical thinking is required.
The amount of puzzles available is impressive, at over 500 this will keep you going for ages, and there is a good variety of pictures to play through from cups and saucers, athletes and animals.
Though very simple, I really enjoyed this title, in fact I found it hard to put down initially as I wanted to play just one more puzzle. The difficulty of some puzzles may put people off, but there is always a solution, so perseverance and a bit of luck will always pay off.
