If there is one game that would suit children’s parties it’s Singstar Singalong with Disney, which is the latest in a long line of additions to the popular franchise.
As you may have guessed, Singalong with Disney offers 20 songs with their original videos from everyone’s favourite animation studio, the songs which are all classics in their own right all fit into the franchise perfectly although it does seem that they are aimed at children given that some of the tracks are rather short.
Songs included in the game range from Aladdin’s “A Whole New World”, Cinderella’s Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo as well as tracks from Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty. It is pretty much guaranteed that everyone will know at least a few of the songs on the tracklist from their youth.
 Usually when new Singstar games are released on PS2 they are pretty much untouched apart from the inclusion of the new songs, however Singalong with Disney does tweak the interface slightly. Instead of the usual remarks that greet you hitting the high notes (or not hitting them as the case may be), you are now greeted with smiley faced stars, this is also the case at the end of the song when you are being rated on how well you have performed the song.
Singalong with Disney is a great addition to the franchise, sure it is aimed at children, which is great if you are having a party, however there is no doubt that at some point the adults will break this out as well, there is nothing like reliving your childhood after all.
