Guitar Hero World Tour has now been dated, with the game and guitar bundles hitting stores on the 7th November. The launch will be staggered over three weeks, with the larger "all in one" bundles hitting stores on the 14th November and the PS2 "all in one" version releasing on the 21st.

"We’re delighted to confirm the release dates for all formats and bundles. Guitar Hero World Tour is the one of the most anticipated games launches this year so I’d recommend that everyone gets their orders in quick for the Christmas rush," Activision’s David Tyler told British trade mag MCV.

"The free bass guitar controller offer running with all pre-orders has been exceptionally well received, and we can’t wait to see the reaction when the game hits the shelves."

Also revealed today is that to celebrate the releases of the Quantum of Solace and Guitar Hero World Tour video games, Bond aficionados and rock stars alike will be able to download and play “Another Way to Die,” the new Quantum of Solace movie theme song performed by Jack White and Alicia Keys, in Guitar Hero World Tour.  The track will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360 for 160 Microsoft Points and on the Playstation Store for the Playstation 3 on November 7th, 2008.
