BEATLES ROCK BAND GAME DATED

The Beatles: Rock Band today recieved a date, and as you may have noticed, a title.

Harmonix's new Beatles-themed music game has been given a price and release date.

The Beatles: Rock Band also has an official website, though at the moment all that is on it is the numbers "09 09 09".

Rolling Stone has confirmed though that the game will launch on 9th September 2009, which makes sense judging by the website. It has also been revealed that this date applies to North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, so it looks like a worldwide release is happening.

The Beatles: Rock Band will be available for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 on the same day, so no longer will PS3 and Wii owners have to look on with envy, which is nice.

EA and Harmonix are of course going to cash in by releasing a whole new range of instruments, based on the real-life guitars, basses and drums used by John, Paul, George and Ringo though those with the full kit already need not worry as these will also be compatiable.
