Taiwanese site UDN claims Sony has signed production contracts to begin manufacturing the PS3 Slim.
Two companies named Foxconn and Pegatron are working towards delivery in July, says UDN (translated by Engadget).
This follows reports that Sony would launch the PS3 Slim this autumn, after cutting the price of the existing 80gb model.
Sony will not comment on these rumours, but if its true expect to hear something at either the Games Convention, Cologne which starts August 17th or at the Tokyo Games Show in September.
