Team 17 have today revealed that Alien Breed Evolution (Episode 1) will be released on Wednesday, December 16th on Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade, priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10/£6 approx).
This is the first part of the Triliogy with the remaining episodes releasing next year.
The game will Initially be exclusive to Xbox 360, although the trilogy will also be available for PC and PlayStation3 in 2010.
