FINAL FANTASY XIII SELLS OVER 1.5 MILLION
Almost quarter of a million PS3 systems sold too.

Famitsu/Enterbrain have this morning revealed that Final Fantasy XIII has sold 1,516,532 copies on its first week on sale in Japan.
 
It has also been revealed that Final Fantasy XIII helped boost PS3 sales, with 245,406 systems also being sold in Japan last week.
 
The game was launched in the Far East on December 17th and will be released in Europe and the US on 9th March 2010.
