As any Xbox 360 fan probably knows, the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive was recently reduced to £114.99, making the next generation of hi-def movies more affordable than ever, however what you may not have known is that should you go out and buy one today, you will now be eligible to get five free HD-DVD movies to go with it.

From now until January 31, if you buy an Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive and fill in the form you can download from Xbox.com you’ll be able to choose 5 free HD-DVDs from a huge choice of Hollywood blockbusters.

All those films are either "I wouldn�t buy it" or rubbish. I�m not going to make the leap into HD DVD�s until they come at least on par with regular DVD�s. Sure, the picture may not be as good, but there�s far more choice and they�re a hell of a lot cheaper.
