As reported by ourselves, Playstation 3 firmware 2.40 was release by Sony last week, however it wasn’t without it’s problems with some people claiming it crashed thier system and had all other sorts of effects, therefore Sony promptly pulled it down again in order to resolve these issues.
The good news is that CVG have reported firmware 2.41 should be out by Wednesday at the latest, meaning that everyone should get to sample the delights of the firmware, which includes in-game XMB and Trophy support.
So smile people, it won’t be long now.
