Media Molecule have revealed during a BBC interview that LittleBigPlanet 2 is already in the works, even though the first game is yet to be released.

Speaking to the BBC they said that they had begun work on a sequel before going on to say that the firm, with Sony, are in talks to turn it into a franchise that could mean spin offs including comics, cartoons, and action figures as well as a publishing platform itself for other brands’ content.

Sounds like it’s going to be a big success then, well let’s hope so because it certainly deserves to be.
