EA has announced a brand new version of Criterion’s popular Burnout Paradise for both Xbox 360 and PS3 that is heading to the shelves in February next year.
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box will include the gameplay update Cagney and the all new Bike patch which bought two-wheeled fun to the franchise for the first time.
The Ultimate Edition will also include the new Paradise Party update, which will introduce a number of offline multiplayer modes, allowing you to pass the pad around your friends . The Party update will also include a number of gameplay tweaks including the ability to restart races and, on PS3, the brand new Burnout Paradise Network, which enables players to keep track of friends and Burnout news within the game.
Criterion’s senior producer Pete Lake said of the release: “Whether you’re an experienced player or a gaming novice, Burnout Paradise is a game that anyone can enjoy. With The Ultimate Box, we aimed to deliver the most fun, high quality and high value experience possible to players both online and in the living room.”
