Troubled publisher Midway Games has been sold for $100,000 to a private investor in the name of Mark Thomas.

Sumner Redstone, the previous owner, is said to have sold Midway Games to ease his company’s (National Amusements) $1.6 billion debt.

Midway Games have had a tough year, however they wil be hoping that Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe at least gives them something to cheer about.
