Sony today released the following factsheet for a new Playstation Network game, Piyotama, which is being developed by Sony Japan.

It seems that a release date has not yet been decided but the information and screenshots included below should give you a good idea of what to expect.

OVERVIEW

Hidden deep within the Hotai forest lives a family of playful and mysteriously colored creatures known as Piyos. Every spring Mother Piyo, “PIYOMAMA^TM”, lays eggs to fill the forest with new colorful Piyos. However, this year, in all of her excitement, she laid too many! In Piyotama, players help her hatch the eggs before they overflow the nest.

Simply line up the colorful eggs, chain them together and combo hatch them. Lining up four or more eggs of the same color causes them to hatch. Piyotama is an excitingly addictive action-puzzle game for PLAYSTATION 3. Easy to learn and hard to quit, Piyotama delivers fast puzzle gameplay in 1080p.
