FIFA 08 has just become the first video game this year to sell a million units at retail, which just shows you that despite all the doom and gloom surrounding English football, the popularity of the sport is as great as ever.
EA have stated that they feel the following factors have contributed to the success of FIFA 08 :
- The producers have built a brand new game engine which is now brings football fans the most realistic football experience ever.
- FIFA 08 is the only game to feature the Premier and Coca-Cola Leagues with all of the official teams and players.
- FIFA 08 now features the F.A Cup for the first time ever!
