There were rumours flying around that the Playstation Eye had been delayed until next year, however we can now confirm that this is not the case and it will be released on the 21st December 2007.

The Eye comes packaged with the excellent Eye Create software which allows you to record short videos and then alter them as you see fit, this also works for still images. As well as eye create there are numerous applications and games now available for download on the Playstation Network.

Having tested the camera we have to say that we are very impressed with the build quality, it works extremely well with games such as Eye of Judgement and Singstar, hopefully Sony will continue to support it in this way.
